About the team
We are a small, newly established team of business analysts and strategy professionals in Schibsted’s central Data & Technology organisation. We are responsible for leading analysis of data trends, as well as driving strategy development and execution. Our team works both with the group-wide data strategy in Schibsted and internally in Data & Tech with leading and facilitating product strategies. A key part of our job is to engage in strategic discussions and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Schibsted to understand their needs and ambitions and ensure we empower them with strong data capabilities.
Your responsibilities

Drive strategy development, execution and strategic projects

Play a key role in the data strategy execution program – drive and follow up progress as well as actively work to identify and mitigate risks

Introduce strategy best practises, frameworks and methods into the product and tech teams including leading the work to facilitate the development of new product strategies

Collaborate closely with stakeholders from the business areas and brands in Schibsted

Be a change agent – ensure we understand challenges and opportunities. You will also be in charge of the planning and execution of different change initiatives
Who are we looking for?
-
3-5 years of experience from strategy consulting and/or project management
-
Demonstrated problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
-
Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise way and to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Ability to thrive in ambiguity as well as to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to anticipate the needs of a changing landscape

Capacity to anticipate, comprehend, and manage dependencies in a complex organisation

Masters degree in Business Administration or similar

Motivated to make Schibsted the most data-empowered company in the Nordics

Previous experience of working with data / product management is beneficial but not required
This is a role within a tech organisation, but you don’t necessarily need to have a tech background. The most important thing is that you understand the basics and have an interest in it.

Data & Tech is a central product and tech unit that serves all of Schibsted. We are about 250+ people in Oslo, Stockholm and Krakow, and collaborate closely with other product and tech teams in all units in Schibsted. Areas of responsibilities include data & technology strategy, privacy/data trends/responsible data & machine learning, information security and internal IT.
