This is no little task and to meet our ambitious program, Scania and Traton Group R&D work in close collaboration with partners and engineering service suppliers. Our job, at External Operation, is to make those collaborations smooth, compliant, and effective for our internal customers.

Job description
We are looking for a Strategic Project Manager that would like to contribute to the long-term success and profitability of Scania/Traton.
In this position you will work as a management consultant finding, creating, and deploying tools & methodologies that will support the line organization on primarily 2 subjects:
• to identify capabilities that create customer value for the future.
• to understand the global talent pool and find ways to access it for solutions that should be developed in collaboration with Partners.
You will lead diverse initiatives in collaboration with your colleagues and other stakeholders across the organization to suggest recommendations on the way forward. Of course, the recommendation will need to be executed and it will also be your responsibility to support its deployment together with the different management teams. It is all about connecting the dots of the big picture and being able to execute simply!

About you
We believe that you:
• Are an engineer or business graduate with several years experience in Management Consultant firms or equivalent (R&D or Purchasing)
• Are the curious type and what you do not know, you find a way to learn.
• Have a strong business and strategy mindset
• Understand product development
• Have experience working with strategy and process development
• Have experience interacting with people at all levels of the organization.

• Love to work and will use all your skill sets to succeed. You are the type of person that goes the extra mile!
• Can find a way when there is no obvious road forward
• Are passionate about new learning and love continuous improvement.
