On top of that a continuous scouting of new technologies is crucial to stay ahead. The department Electromobility, Autonomous, Electronics (EAE) is responsible for:
Developing the supply chain business for Electromobility and Fuel Cell Technologies
Developing the supply chain business for Autonomous Solutions
Developing the supply chain business for Electronics and Software
Scouting and developing new technologies and markets

This department is now looking for you who would like to lead Strategic projects to be the world leading purchasing function in the industry.


Your mission and main activities


This function will together with EAE (Electromobility, Autonomous and Electronics) Purchasing Management team build the EAE Strategic roadmap. You have an outside-in view, and you get energy from building and realizing our transformation agenda.


Your role in the EAE management team is to secure that there is a consistent approach to secure successful change management framework for EAE. You propose and lead discussions about strategic projects with EAE Management team and when strategic projects are decided, those will be driven and/or coordinated by you. These projects will support our strategic journey both from a business and people perspective.


You are part of the EAE Management team and you contribute to the development of the department in an active way. We are proud of our cohesive management team and we are thrilled to welcome you in order to build an even stronger team!


Who are you ?


You are a person that loves being involved in strategic matters that affects the full purchasing scope of Volvo. You are part of EAE management team and an important player in creating our strategic roadmap. This means you need to have a very good
understanding of what purchasing is all about and that you understand the strategic roadmap of Group Trucks Purchasing. You are overall responsible for securing that we as a purchasing function get benchmarking done to always stay tuned about what are the external trends.


As the world around us is evolving, strategic projects in the area of Electromobility, Autonomous and Electronics will be essential. You are a senior person that loves collaborating with other people in a global network and is agile navigating various ecosystems. You are also a doer. The ability to take ownership of various tasks is necessary and problem-solving skills in combination with analytical mindset is crucial. You are result oriented and you like doing business.
