Strategic purchaser

Do you want the possibility to join and contribute in building up a new team?In this position you will have the opportunity to build new relationships and also to work with change management.

You will participate in building up a core team in AB Tetra Pak regarding Indirect Purchasing.Indirect Purchasing includes all supplier relations that are not related to Tetra Pak customer products.As it is a small team, your contribution will be important and visible.The team consists of both strategic and operational purchasers as well as Supplier Management Process specialists.
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Purchaser who will be responsible for selected commodities, from defining needs and sourcing strategy together with the business owners in Tetra Pak Lund, to regular follow up of the negotiated contracts.

Your main tasks/responsibilities will be to:

-Gather business and contracts requirements in discussion with business owners
-Source and qualify potential suppliers
-Evaluate quotations and negotiate contracts together with business owners
-Implement contracts
-Evaluate and follow up existing contracts
-Develop processes and tools for purchasing of indirect material
-Create and manage supplier strategies for your commodities and suppliers
-Drive Change Management


Kvalifikationer

As a person you have a strategic mindset.You have excellent communication and negotiations skills as well as a good business and value understanding.The position requires you to be a very good team player and an experienced driver of change.You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.

The successful candidate has a University degree within a relevant area.At least five years of relevant experience in a similar position is necessary as well as experience from purchasing of Indirect Material.Experience in working with SAP R/3 is an advantage.
