Strategic Purchaser, Electronics and Mechatronics

The Role
This position plays an integral role in driving improvements in the sourcing of all categories related to Direct Material, a Koenigsegg key metric. Strategic Purchasers have the responsibility to identify, qualify, and provide supplier sources for products that shall meet design requirements, support business objectives, and represents best value to the company.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Strategic Purchasers main responsibility is to be responsible for development and implementation of Category strategies, maintaining and develop the current supplier base to a high level. The purpose is to have a mid to long term view on supplier selection as well as secure the current and future supplier base to support Koenigsegg’ competitiveness now and in the future.
Sourcing of parts, services and consumables for production, development, and service/aftermarket
Optimize inventory and stock levels of purchased components.
Capture/Understand potential risks (quality, financial, property, geopolitical, etc.) along the whole Supply Chain cycle and prepare contingency plans.
Measure and manage the supplier and contract performance in all aspects including supplier’s compliance to Koenigsegg requirements.
Support commercial relationships (incl. contract terms & conditions and annual negotiations) when needed.
Support Category managers in completion of tasks.
Drive Supplier entry & supplier exit/switch process
Qualifications
Master or bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering and Management or other relevant training in combination with at least 4-6 years’ experience in the field of Sourcing/Supply Chain Management.
Minimum 3 years of documented strategic sourcing related experience, within the area of Electronics and Mechatronics.
High skills within Supply Chain techniques incl planning, TCO, logistics and quality processes, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of resilience to deal with urgent requests, and minimal information. Work in close liaison with different stakeholders internally and externally.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and hands-on execution.
Strong written and verbal skills as well as organisational and project management capabilities
Proficient in Excel, MS Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (Monitor or equivalent)
Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively.
Advanced language skills in Swedish and English in both speech and writing
Good oral and written communication skills, suitable for both large groups and senior management
Strong business acumen.
Willingness to learn.
