Procurement at Dellner Train Connection Systems is about adding value to the business by selecting and working with sustainable suppliers which meets, or exceeds, the needs of the business.
In the role as Strategic Purchaser for Indirect Material & Services you will get connections throughout the entire company and you get a wide understanding of the different challenges every function within Dellner faces.

Job Summary
In the role you combine both global and local/regional tasks within indirect procurement. You establish a close relationship with your counterparts at the major Dellner sites as well as with the stakeholders within the functions. You aim to close prosperous deals with suppliers and to harvest any potential synergy a global company can find in applicable categories of products or services.
You drive and lead, together with the Process & Tools Manager, transformation of the way of working within the indirect categories and how we purchase goods and services in an efficient and professional manner.
Together with the Global Procurement Manager, you set the strategy and selects which categories to prioritize, but also secures that all needed purchases are handled in a professional way.
Management of the full indirect spend within Dellner lays within your responsibility, so you use a pragmatic approach within market intelligence search and you are able to manage tasks from global consultant companies to car leasing companies to office supplies and local contractors in Sweden.
You are part of the Global Procurement Management Team.
Keys in your contribution to success:
• Manage and develop a sustainable global/regional/local supplier base that supports our strategies based on the nature of the business
• Select, manage and develop suppliers using the Sourcing process and other procurement processes
• Collaborate with colleagues and networks to ensure sharing and implementation of best practices, execution of continuous improvements and implementation strategies.
• Develop and implement category strategies where applicable together with the category team members
• Curiosity and drive to change and transform
• Ability to act in an agile way and to shift focus from one area/category to another
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant field, such as business management or industrial economics, or the equivalent experience gained from a working career. Experience from a senior position within the procurement or logistics is beneficial in this role. We work in a truly global environment and you have excellent skills in English, both written and verbal, while knowledge of Swedish is clearly an advantage.

Travelling occurs occasionally in the role and the location is Falun, Sweden.
