Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. Are you our next leader? Do you want to be a part of our development of the future transport system? We are now looking for a servant leader to become our new strategic Release Train Engineer (RTE) within the H2H (Hub to Hub) partner solutions part of Autonomous Transport Solutions (ATS). The RTE is a part of the VCT (Value Creation Teams) Management that works tightly together with Business, Traton R&D and our strategic partner.

As a strategic RTE you become a part of the Scania Project Office. Still, you will also have a solid connection to the Autonomous Product Management & Verification section within R&D. The strategic RTE works closely together with the “classic” RTE in this specific VCT.

Your daily work
Every day at work you will influence TRATON’s future by your servant leadership, coaching your team, colleagues, and managers towards our ATS H2H Vision.

As a strategic RTE, you are a part of the VCT Management, which is the central team setting the direction of the Flow. In VCT Management, you have the possibility to influence strategy as well as details.

The strategic RTE role in this VCT is to drive execution, escalate impediments and manage risk and dependencies with other Traton projects as well as with our partner. You do this on a tactical horizon, together with your RTE colleague running the 10-week Product Increments, but also on the strategic horizon, working with our partner and setting up a collaboration within Traton. The work within the VCT Management involves working closely together with other leading roles from other parts of the company (business, R&D, purchasing, production etc) and you have regular communication with Scania, MAN, Navistar and TRATON management.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who is passionate about new efficient ways of working, using the existing processes whilst altering what is needed to change. You feel comfortable in a dynamic world where agile and conventional development methods co-exist.

You have a relevant education from the university and several years of experience in Agile-lean development and/or project management. A plus is an experience in the Scania/MAN PD (Product Development) process. Excellent servant leadership skills are necessary to be able to work within the value stream.

As a person, you are engaged and structured. You have your team's well-being and performance in focus and work as a servant leader to fill the gaps needed for the Solution to deliver value. With your eminent communication skills, you can easily interact with different persons in various positions within the company. You are comfortable leaving the brand scope and think a global TRATON solution. You need to be comfortable presenting and facilitating large groups in English (written and oral).

Looking forward to your application!
