Our Exciting Opportunity
Production Services group is part of the Global PST (Production and Test Services) managing the spend for manufacturing services in Ericsson. Under the category we have a global spend of about 200Bn SEK. To strengthen Ericsson’s competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks and contributing to the creation of value for the Customer, we are now hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join the team!
The role involves managing the category by product globally including evaluating, qualifying and selecting suppliers. This involves working closely with the category manager, supplier relation manager on all commercial activities with the suppliers
You will
Develope strong and positive relationship with Manufacturing services (EMS) as well as internal stakeholder
Develope and manage quarterly pricing negotiation to meet savings target and implement pricing timely
Involve in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer Product Introduction (TPI) to make sure commercial readiness
Manage, review and improve Supplier Performance and operational activities with suppliers, which includes:
a. Product Cost improvement (PCI) plan execution
b. Quarterly Business Review
c. 1st level escalation points for supply team in case of any issues
d. Any Operational activities related to the platform/project managed
Be involved in other activities, such as projects related to production services, like benchmarking activities
To be successful in the role you must have
4-5 years of working experience in managing EMS
Good analytical skills are required. Ability to analyse and interpret spend data and requirements
Experience and skills in forming short- and longer-term strategies
Technical knowledge on manufacturing process
Good negotiation skills
Good presentation skills
Ability to work independently with good working attitude
