About this opportunity
We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager that will help Ericsson on our journey while we change our sourcing organization!
In this role, you own category strategy, targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) and secure a Category Supplier base that supports Ericsson's business needs. By doing so, you are in charge of steering business awards to Preferred Supplier List (PSL), risk mitigation, cost awareness and demands whilst securing quality and compliance!
It is a global role where you will steer a network of peers and partners spread out across different locations but with one aim to support Ericsson's total requests, catering our product management, product development units and market areas thus ultimately providing maximum value to our customers.
The main prerequisite for the role lies in interacting and motivating your stakeholders, peers and colleagues, finding new service models and drive continuous improvement.
The preferred location is Sweden, but we are open for other countries too. You will report to the Head of Category Group Warehousing.
What you will do
Be responsible and the SPOC for the commercial relationship with logistics suppliers in Europe
Ensure close collaboration to the region for excellent support and deep understanding of market requirements and drivers
Secure best commercials for services and solutions at all times
Handle all questions and activities related to the Supplier base within your geographic responsibility
Ensure implementation of Category work
You will bring
Experience from services sourcing
Academic Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge and experience from the logistics industry.
Commercial competence and skills
Ability to address problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
The understanding of team strategies and objectives
The motivation to learn and constantly improve processes
You might also have:
Background in contract drafting and related legal matter
Change & Improvement Management Skills and also knowledge in local laws & Regulation.
