Strategic Sourcing Manager - Embedded Interconnect

The ambition for Ericsson Sourcing is to become a world class sourcing organization! Network Products HW Sourcing within Group Sourcing is accountable for sourcing of all HW components and solutions to the Ericsson Radio System.

We are responsible to manage and secure a world class HW supplier base enabling our Microwave, Radio, Baseband, Indoor and Router product solutions for Transport, LTE, WCDMA, GSM and the ongoing transformation into 5G.

We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager within Category Embedded Interconnect who also will be a Supplier Relationship Manager.

The position will be based in Kista, Sweden reporting to the Head of Connectivity & Mechanics Sourcing.

What you will do
Lead, prepare & execute the RFx process to maximize Ericsson business value
Manage supplier relations and supplier performance for key suppliers
Evaluate, select, and qualify suppliers
Prepare and drive supplier negotiation
Enable a close collaboration with Product Management, R&D and Supply to maximize the sourcing contribution to the overall business results.


You will bring
A University degree (MSc or BSc) or equivalent
Proven sourcing experience, preferably in Hardware and/or Telecom or Automotive Industry
Sourcing Practice, Process and Strategy Knowledge
Strong negotiation skills and good market insight
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build excellent relations
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Demonstrated analytical capabilities
Proficiency in communication and analytical tools (PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel, etc)
Ability to influence internal and external partners and drive objective decision making
Knowledge about Interconnect products (connectors, cable assemblies) is an asset
