Strategic Sourcing Manager for Boxon Group in Helsingborg

Their business involves around 260 employees and they have an annual turnover of about SEK 1.3 billion.

As the business is expanding thanks to their innovative offering, they are looking to reinforce the Procurement department with a Strategic Sourcing Manager. You will be part of an international working environment and develop and be responsible for a global supplier portfolio.

This is an important role and your stakeholders will be everything from smaller to larger global suppliers and customers, with discussions and negotiations on a very high level. In addition, you will be responsible for setting both local and global sourcing strategy, including scaling up/down the supplier portfolio for each market depending on sales and demand.

The work is performed in close cooperation with the sales department and your colleagues located in Helsingborg.

EXAMPLE OF TASKS/ASSIGMENTS

- Full ownership of supplier´s portfolio in given area including developing structure both a locally and globally.
- Conduct purchasing price- and conditions negotiations focusing on total spend and terms.
- Drive tenders and Benchmarking activities to maintain competitiveness.
- Participate in developing Purchase- and Procurement process cross borders.
- Engage into commercial contracts and monitor implementation.
- Wear overall responsibility for quality and supply chain process.
- Efficiently manage Suppliers register and Article registers securing high quality data input.
- Actively contribute within the Sourcing team to optimize stock levels and logistics flows.
- Sharing best practises with the team to develop individually and as team.
- Market Intelligence - Monitor trends, customer needs, competitors.

WHO ARE YOU?

We believe that you have a at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position within purchasing or sales and within the packaging industry, more specifically within corrugated board. Furthermore, we believe that you have:

- A corresponding academic degree
- Experience in B2B, preferably international.
- Good understanding of production industry.
- Good Office 365 skills, especially Excel.
- Available to travel, approximately 40-50 days/year.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
- Fluent in one or more Scandinavian languages, written and spoken.
