Strategic Sourcing Manager, Indirect Procurement to Sobi

We are now seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for the Marketing & Communications category - a positive and proactive team player that wants to join us on our exciting journey.

The role
In the role as Strategic Sourcing Manager at Sobi, you will coordinate and develop your Category and actively participate in the development of Indirect procurement at the company. In your role you will be responsible for one or more Procurement Categories, leading procurement activities in close cooperation with stakeholders across the organisation. Examples of Indirect Procurement Categories include; Analysis & Studies, FM, IT, Marketing& Communications, Production & Lab, Professional Services, Transport& Logistics and Travel.

 The role includes:
- Develop and implement Category and Supplier strategies
- Independently drive the entire purchasing process from start to finish to meet agreed objectives and within agreed deadlines
- Lead cross-functional projects and manage relations with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Responsible for negotiations with various suppliers and following up on signed agreements and deliverables
- Measuring and monitoring performance within your category 
- Continuously contributing to the evolvement of our purchasing and support processes

You will be a part of our Indirect Procurement team of 6 people, based at Sobi’s head office in Stockholm and you will report to Director of Indirect Procurement.

Your profile
We believe that you are passionate about purchasing and want to play a key part in the Procurement Department's change journey.
To succeed in the role, we believe that you have 5-10 years of experience from a wide role in purchasing where you have been responsible for the entire purchasing process. You have a relevant University degree or the equivalent, with solid experience in running successful purchasing projects. You are a successful negotiator who has good knowledge of contracts as well as commercial and legal terms. You have experience in running change management projects and working with a wide range of stakeholders, preferably cross border. We believe you have good communication skills, are fluent in English and are not afraid to give your opinion. You are independent, but good at working with others and enjoy driving change. You are also an experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint and have excellent analytical skills.

You will be based in our Head Office in Solna, Stockholm
