We are now looking for a Strategic Buyer to be based in Gothenburg to join us, starting after the summer period.
The role as Strategic Buyer has the aim to minimize any risks to customer safety and customer relations. The Strategic Buyer owns and manages all Vendor related Dräger processes for the Nordics and will propose any process improvements.
As our Strategic Buyer you will work in close cooperation with our Nordic Operations Manager and other key stakeholders within the Dräger Nordics. In your role you will propose and implement the approved purchasing strategies. This role will also take over all purchasing related activities for defined areas or suppliers that arise in the strategic purchasing and forms the interface to the supplier and all internal customers, especially in the case of supplier-related escalations to enable Total Cost Reduction.
Some examples of tasks this role will working with.
Contract management & supplier development including supplier selection, price and contract negotiations.
Performance management & escalation management (cost, quality, logistics) including key figure monitoring and development of measures.
Quality audits of suppliers with the support from Nordic Quality Management.
Initiation and enforcement of technical cost change measures in coordination with projects and stakeholders
Trade compliance in the Nordics

Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
A degree from an education with technical and/or economic focus.
Previous experience from working within manufacturing/engineering.
Previous experience from both international and local sourcing, (market analysis & supplier selection), reviewing technical and market trends, contracts & supplier panel management.
Experience of successfully managing projects.
Good English and Swedish language skills.

We also believe that you have some previous user knowledge of systems such as SAP and MS Office as well as a good understanding of technology and the markets.
