Key Responsibilities
* Engage with stakeholders for RFI, RFP, RFQ and evaluation processes.
* Contract negotiations with IT and Telecom suppliers.
* Support and lead commercial activities throughout the supplier lifecycle within IT.
* Act as escalation point for commercial issues pertaining to supplier management.
* Continually review IT and Telecom contracts to identify consolidation opportunities and synergy effects.
* Actively promote best working practices at all levels within the IT and business stakeholders to support continued improvement.
* Actively participate in Group and regional Purchasing activities representing the IT and Telecom category.
Location: Stockholm
Working hours: Weekdays, office hours
Duration: 4/12 - 3/7 (full time)
Qualifications
* Experience negotiating global purchasing contracts, within the IT business area.
* Working knowledge of all legal aspects of contract management.
* Proven track record in delivering savings through effective purchasing techniques.
* Proven ability to work across national and functional boundaries to achieve the best result.
* Experience at managing sourcing at a TCO level.
* Experience of developing and implementing effective procurement processes.
* Fluent in English, any other language is an asset.
Hands on experience of Software, Outsourcing, Services and Telecom agreements is meritorious, as well as an education to degree level within Procurement, Purchasing, IT or Law.
Personal qualities
You shall have ability to work effectively, independently or as a part of a multi-functional team. Good communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally. Relationship builder with strong interpersonal relationship skills and a "can-do" attitude. Organized and methodical with good time management skills.
