Assignment: This is a consultant assignment where you will be employed by us but work with the client. The assignment is longterm and for the right candidate there is a chance of employment at the client.

The Strategic Purchaser executes the sourcing strategy within the applicable project, negotiates and establishes agreements with suppliers according to Category Strategy and project technical, budget and timing requirements. You monitor the order fulfilment and intervenes with the supplier when applicable during the course of progress.

For this position, you will be responsible for sourcing of Systems for submarines and surface ships, from current and future supplier base. This requires;

* Negotiation of non-disclosure agreements with suppliers
* Lead a procurement team consisting of system engineers, supplier quality managers, call for team meetings and drive the procurement forward
* Create Request for Information and Request for Quotation, analyze and compare quotations and recommend management on way forward
* Negotiations regarding price, terms and conditions with suppliers
* Establish contracts with suppliers, maintain and administrate contract documentation as well as commercial decisions in relevant systems
* Monitor Contract / Purchase Order fulfilment and expedite when required and manage changes within Contract / Purchase Order in accordance with relevant change management process
* Be focus point for all commercial aspects related to the Contract / PO
* Close cooperation with engineers and project managers
* Monitor and develop supplier performance (QDC) in line with established goals and requirements.
* It is a merit if you have experience from Strategic Procurement in a project-oriented organization

You report to Head of section Systems, at Strategic Sourcing Kockums and the team is based on both Malmö and Karlskrona.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
