Strategy Analyst - Volvo Group Connected Solutions

As Strategy Analyst in Volvo Group Connected Solutions, you will be a part of a global organization that is leading the development of the Volvo Group’s connected services and solutions. At Volvo Group Connected Solutions we work at the forefront of connectivity with data from more than 1 000 000 Volvo Group customer assets. Together with customers, partners and the Volvo Group we create real value, not only for our customers but also for society at large.


As Strategy Analyst, you will be part of formulating and driving the Strategy for Volvo Group Connected Solutions. Main responsibility includes capture, concretize and drive strategic initiatives as well as support in governance coordination.


The role requires close collaboration across Volvo Group Connected Solutions as well as with other stakeholders in Volvo Group Business Areas and Truck Divisions.


The position reports to the Vice President of Strategy, Enterprise Architecture and Analytics.


Key Responsibilities
As Strategy Analyst, your key responsibilities are to:
Collect, interpret and analyze relevant information
Concretize and drive strategic initiatives
Facilitate workshops
Turn conceptual ideas and dialogues into easy to grasp presentations
Manage preparation and execution of governance forums
Act as support and sounding board to the Vice President of Strategy, EA & Analytics and the larger VGCS Executive Management Team in various strategic matters

Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking

Interest in and understanding of our industry and our customers’ business
Experience from working in larger global group corporations

We believe the successful candidate has experience from working in strategic roles within a larger corporation or at a management consultancy firm. Can do attitude, business mind-set, personal credibility, integrity and creativity are crucial personal characteristics. You are a social person with strong relationship capabilities and enjoy working with others. You have a passion for business, technology and people.


You have a masters degree or equivalent and are fluent in English, international business experience is a merit. The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.


Location & Timeline
We are located in the Lindholmen area in Gothenburg, Sweden. Frequent travel is expected. The final date of sending your application is August 31.
