Volvo Group Purchasing (GTP) Strategy & Digitalization (PS&D) is a Centre of Excellence. We are responsible for driving and facilitating the strategic direction of purchasing on behalf of the Executive Management Team (EMT). 
PS&D is, together with relevant line functions, driving efficiency within digitalization, governance, harmonization, group synergies, continuous improvements and digital & IT projects to enable business value. We work proactively with change management and transformation in collaboration with other GTP functions. 
Our colleague Eeva has been promoted to a new exiting role, and thus we need a replacer that can continue to drive and develop the GTP strategic agenda and develop our business going forward. 
Your mission – how you can make an impact 
In this role you will have two key missions: to drive the GTP strategic roadmap and to lead the coordination of the GTP EMT strategic agenda. 
You will, together with GTP EMT, build the GTP Strategic roadmap with the purpose to contribute to the implementation of the Volvo Group long-term ambitions to be 100% fossil free, 100% safe and 100% more productive. To have an outside-in view, you conduct overall purchasing benchmark on a recurrent basis. You are also leading our business implementation network within GTP with the objective to translate strategy into tangible impact and measurable outcomes for the organization. 
Strategy & Business Development Lead is also the GTP EMT coordinator, with the purpose of planning, driving and facilitating the strategic agenda, as well as leading and preparing strategic presentations at the GTP level. 

Who are you?

If you are a person who enjoys being involved in strategic matters that affects the full purchasing scope of the Volvo Group – this is the position for you. You are part of the GTP EMT as well as the PS&D management team. You are overall responsible for securing that we as a purchasing function get benchmarking done to always stay tuned about what are the external trends to further enhance GTP as a strategic powerhouse. 
Being part of the management team of GTP Purchasing Strategy & Digitalization, you are a team player with an ability to understand and communicate around the strategic roadmap of GTP. This is important as you will represent our function in a GTP business management team. 
You are a senior person that enjoys collaborating with others in a global network, but you are also a doer. 
This position is reporting to the Head of Purchasing Strategy & Digitalization. 

Main activities & Responsibility

* Your role as GTP EMT coordinator will put a lot of emphasis on you as a person having high integrity, driving the EMT agenda together with the executive management team of GTP 
* Maintain and evolve the needed network and channels to be up to date with benchmarking of purchasing as a function to facilitate the strategic roadmap of GTP 
* By driving the strategic agenda for GTP EMT, you are a natural harbor for sharing inspiration related to our strategy and how to make progress

* Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)

* Strong strategic thinking, judgement and analytical skills 
* Very good skills in Office 365, with a strong emphasis on being able to build impactful presentation material for different audiences 
* Very high level of personal integrity 
* You have a structured and pragmatic approach to organizing your work  
* You have a solution-oriented mindset that enables you to effectively prioritize your work, always considering the big picture 
* Excellent interpersonal & networking skills – you are a true connector working in eco-systems 
* Proven project management skills 
* You have a global mindset with advanced skills in English 
* Positive and growth mindset with strong energy to contribute to the success of the Volvo Group 
* You probably have a MSc in Engineering and/or Business Administration
