Sandvik Coromant is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sandvik group and is world-leading in the area of hardened metal cutters- and tools, as well as drills, mills and lathe stands for working metals.Our customers are the metal, automobile and aviation industries, and it is our goal to meet the market's increasing demand for new heavy-duty precision products.Sandvik Coromant has facilities in four locations in Sweden: Sandvik, Gimo, Västberga and Kista. The Sandvik Coromant Finance and Controlling function is responsible for the financial management of Sandvik Coromant globally.The ongoing strategy work will change parts of the business steering model that Sandvik Coromant has used for many years.To mention just a couple of examples, they involve transfer of business ownership and authority closer to sales in our organization and more transparency in our organization with regards to important business information.In order to manage this successfully, the controlling function will be strengthened with two Strategy Controllers. Key performance areas As a Strategy Controller you will have an important role when it comes to implementing and following up Sandvik Coromant's strategy within the context of the new business steering model.Your main responsibilities will be to: -Review the business performance of Sandvik Coromant holistically from various angles (market, customer, product, application, etc) -Work closely with Sales Unit Management, Product Management, Marketing, Tooling Supply and other key stakeholders to implement the new business steering model -Support our sales units to develop local strategy plans -Work out recommendations or business initiatives for further improving the performance of the company for the Coromant Management Team, PAR's or Coromant Managers in various markets, based on reviews and observations -Participate in acquisition projects The location of this position will be agreed upon with the concerned candidate.In this role you will be reporting to the CFO.Your profile The successful candidate for this new role has an academic degree in finance and/or business, combined with several years of work experience within the field.Experience from business consulting or from various functions, such as Business Intelligence, Pricing and Profitability, Business Control or Marketing in a global company are considered valuable going into this position. As a person, you are an excellent analyst with strong communication skills, combined with the ability to both document and present the big picture.Further, you have natural seniority and well-developed interpersonal skills, enabling you to work with stakeholders at all levels in our organization.You are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
