Strategy Director

As a Strategy Director at H2GS, you will work very close with the Head of Strategy and the Group Management on a wide range of strategic topics, challenges and projects. This will range from developing and running the Group strategy process to investigating M&A opportunities, run business development projects and taking a leading role in maturing the company’s overall enterprise readiness. The role will put high demands on your ability to leverage your analytical-, leadership-, project management- and interpersonal skills. As the role is very broad and involved in a lot of the processes that make the corporate machinery “tick”, you will in this role have a large impact on the long-term success of the business.
Key responsibilities
· Lead or participate in a diverse range of corporate development projects
· Take a leading role in the Group’s strategic planning process
· Support the continuous development of the Group’s overall business strategy
· Support other parts of the organization with strategic planning, analysis and insight
· Support the corporate governance process, incl Board of Directors
· Manage internal stakeholder relationships ranging from CEO to operations
· Manage external stakeholder relationships ranging from supplier partnerships to strategic customer accounts
· Support the Head of Strategy in the financial planning of the strategy function
· Participate in the Strategy Team’s weekly and monthly meetings
· Actively give and seek feedback
· Continuously improve the strategy function, your role and yourself
Requirements
· M.Sc., MBA or equivalent degree with excellent academic track record
· 5+ years of experience from positions within industry (engineering, sales or operations)
· 3-5 years of experience from a top-tier management consulting firm
· A combination of technical skills, business acumen and result orientation
· Excellent analytical skills (incl Excel mastery)
· Excellent communication skills (incl PowerPoint mastery)
· Excellent skills in written and spoken English
· Demonstrated leadership skills
· A positive mindset and behaviour

Nice-to-haves
· Experience from process industry (preferably Steel, Hydrogen)
· Swedish language skills
