We are currently recruiting a Strategy Manager to further strengthen our team. With us, you will have opportunity to drive important and stimulating strategic questions for Volvo Trucks, and together with decision makers shape the future of the company. As Strategy Manager you have the responsibility to drive strategic evaluations, lead and/or participate in the annual planning cycle and drive business development projects – always in close collaboration with colleagues and decision makers across the Volvo Trucks organization.


Your key responsibilities
Scope, plan and drive strategic projects of different nature, e.g. evaluate and secure decisions on specific strategic questions, setting market or regional strategies, etc.
Lead and/or participate in business development projects of various kind as applicable, e.g. in the business and new technology area
Analyze industry developments and competitor moves and its implications for Volvo Trucks and Volvo Group
Participate in the overall development of the strategy and intelligence function in Volvo Trucks
Prepare and present decision material in the relevant forum, as well as prepare larger management meetings or conferences dealing with strategic issues

As Strategic Manager, you have a proven track record of working with complex strategic tasks and leading strategic projects. You also have the talent for grasping the big picture, being quick in understanding, structuring and addressing issues at hand. Additionally, you have a good business sense as well as understanding of the trucking industry. Furthermore, you:
Have a background in the area of strategy or business development
Drive to develop and get things done
Work in networks, cross functionally
Possess great presentation skills
Have a University degree in business or engineering
Speak and write in English fluently
