About Us
Volvo Group’s Service Market Logistics (SML) is a fantastic, always-evolving workplace. Success for our customer is dependent on that the machine they bought keeps running. SML’s task is to secure that when they need a service part, it is available to them. The bus that takes your kids to school, the back-up generator that keeps the hospital going, or the truck that delivers groceries to your store. Every second across the globe, one order line is shipped from SML, to keep Volvo Group’s products running.
We are in the middle of an exciting digitalization journey, shaping the world we live in. On this journey we want to lead and drive the yearly SML strategy, connect it to our KPI´s and our target settings and together with the Executive Management Team work with follow up and support in our strategic areas. This is where you come in!
Key Responsibilities as a Strategy Manager
As a Strategy Manager you will suggest improvements to existing business strategies and define problems and strategic solutions. Included is also to define, own and improve the strategy process and development of the same within SML. You will work with scoping, analyzing, preparing, and presenting strategy checks, ensure the alignment of activities towards the main direction of our strategy. Identifying risks and opportunities for SML and support the development of long-term organizational strategy is another part of the role. You will also build and nurture strong advisory relationships with key external and internal senior stakeholders. You will conduct research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes and stakeholders and access market trends and competitors. You will then present your findings, projections, and recommended actions to support, prioritize and guide senior executive decision-making processes.

If you have a background in the strategy area, experience in process ownership and development of strategic process that is also a great advantage.
