ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Absolut Brand Team is looking for a Senior Brand Manager, Strategy & Planning. You will play a pivotal role in defining, shaping, influencing, and impacting the future of our iconic brand. You'll be responsible for driving the strategy and planning that ensures our brand stays relevant, contemporary, and engaging for our audiences.
As a part of the Absolut Team, you would be collaborating and partnering with key stakeholders across the wider marketing team, drive markets and other cross-functional leads to ensure the brand strategy is anchored in clear, robust, and well-founded insights.
In this role you will responsible for:
Support the development and implementation of the global Absolut brand strategy. This includes brand positioning, master brand identity, and other brand fundamentals as required. It also encompasses being a champion for the Absolut global strategy to ensure all cross-functional teams (TAC, regional hubs, and market affiliates) have a clear and common understanding of our strategic direction.
Lead the Annual Brand Planning process and build the brand marketing calendar with key initiatives to deliver the brand growth strategy. Develop Strategy playbooks in partnership with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and alignment with market affiliates to deliver brand plans.
Support transformational projects, as well as support other transversal projects as a strategic partner (scoping, analysing, briefing, etc.). Coordinate implementation in collaboration with key stakeholders at TAC, HQ regional hubs, and markets as needed.
Support the long-range planning workstreams, including annual budget plans and executive reviews. Track and analyse trends, competitors' market & consumer insights to help identify new business opportunities.
Partner on the development of expert teams' (comms, channel, digital, etc.) briefs in close collaboration with counterparts from respective teams. Partner with Consumer Insights on Absolut's closeness agenda (PRIME reporting, Consumer Council, etc.). Act as the marketing point of contact on our sustainability strategy.
Coordinate internal engagement efforts on Absolut and provide inspirational information to the broader Absolut marketing team on relevant topics.
Support on ad hoc business request including strategic presentations to senior leadership.
ABOUT YOU
You are a Brand Strategist with a can-do attitude, that is structured and able to prioritize. You are business and solution-oriented, you have a proven ability to work around obstacles to achieve your business goals. You are a critical thinker and a problem solver; you are a clear and concise communicator. Your authenticity and capacity to maneuver a wide group of stakeholders with ability to build lasting relationships no longer needs to be proven.
Academic & Professional experience required
University Degree, most likely Business or Communication.
Solid strategic and/or operational marketing experience
Minimum 8-10 years' experience in Brand Management, Strategic Planning, Consumer Insights, or related marketing discipline.
Ability to travel.
English spoken and written with great proficiency.
