Strategy & Planning Manager (Policy)

We have no intention of stopping now and as the S&P Manager (Policy) you’ll focus on advancing our thinking beyond the “here and now” and provide structure, insights and strategic frameworks for defining global priorities relating to public policies, regulations and assessing how to gain competitive advantages in the markets long-term. YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As the Strategy & Planning Manager (Policy) you’ll report directly to our Chief Strategy Officer and work cross-functionally with supporting the Chief Commercial Officer and the Policy Management team in setting direction, following up on results and managing change initiatives with impact on the company’s long-term success. This will include:
Shaping Strategy: Assessing how we can create differentiation and competitive advantage long term and supporting the Policy Management team in defining global priorities relating to regulations in the different markets
Structured Problem Solving: Find solutions to open-ended questions by designing frameworks to structure decision making (e.g. how to approach parking needs from both a user and city friendly perspective)
Analyzing Business Performance: Analyzing financial and operational data and presenting insights and suggestions for improvements to the Policy Management team
Project Management: Supporting the Policy Management team with setting up structured processes for cross-functional initiatives, following up on progress and driving the process forward to ensure projects deliver on time

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK:
We’re looking for a structured and analytical problem solver comfortable with qualitative and quantitative methods, a hypothesis-driven approach and steep learning curve. Apart from being fluent in English, self-sufficient and goal-oriented, we believe the right person:
A University degree within engineering, business or equivalent
Experience from working in a top-tier strategy consulting firm
Experience from leading cross-functional projects with high business impact
Experience from working independently with data analytics and visualization
Proficiency in structured problem solving, business case modelling and engaging storytelling
