In Sweden we raise funds, recruit field workers, communicate, advocate for change, and provide operational services to contribute to saving lives and alleviating suffering in the world. We are around a hundred people working for MSF Sweden at out nice and bright office at Liljeholmen in Stockholm.

The role
The goal of the Project Manager is to guide all involved stakeholders (incl. MSF Sweden staff, board, association members) through a process to develop the new strategy. The project manager is self-driven and creative.

Main responsibilities
The Project Manager (PM) is given the task by the executive of MSF Sweden to lead and manage the process of developing the organization’s strategy for 2022-2025.
· Successful planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the project.
· Follow and ensure the project is conducted according to existing internal polices and guidelines.
· Make sure to inform all relevant party and stakeholder at any stage of the project
· Draft and finalize a Strategic Plan documents based on the inputs, strategic vision identified, and all data gathered.


We are looking for you with
· Relevant university degree (Bachelor minimum) relevant experience in project management
· Experience from planning, reporting on a strategical level
· Ability to arrange and coordinate the facilities for events, conferences, and workshops.
· Excellent communications skills
· Excellent user of Microsoft Office
· Oral and written fluency in English, ability to produce long documents in English


It is valuable if you have
· MSF experience
· Written/Spoken Nordic language
· Experience in remote project management


Employment terms and conditions
· Type of contract: Part time, around 40%, workload will vary depending on the project needs
· Contract duration: Temporary contract, 8 months
· Work hours: 40 % is 15 hours/week, (37,5 hours/week is full time)
· Salary: 213 SEK/hour (including 12 % holiday pay), (equivalent to 30 617 SEK/month for full time). MSF experience gets an additional pay according to our salary policy
· Benefits: Pension, health insurance, life insurance, travel insurance, insurance for work related injuries, wellness contribution (2000 SEK/year)
· Vacation: 25 days/year (for full time)
· Entry date: 17th August
You need a valid work permit in Sweden
