For this role, we would like you to have:
advanced training in Project Management, Communications, Business Management or equivalent.
experience from management consulting and/or working in large, global and complex organisations.
strong business awareness and commercial mind-set.
experience in working with strategy projects and preparing strategy presentations with the ability to structure, plan and build up change stories.
you master PowerPoint and Excel.
You have great written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business- and technology leaders. You have a good understanding of roles, skills and capabilities essential for large digital organisations. You use a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs.
As a person you know how to work towards short deadlines in a rapidly changing environment and deliver with excellent focused attention to details and driving to resolving issues. You know how to direct effort in achieving long-term business objectives, while stimulating creative ideas and perspectives that add value. You have the ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In the position as Strategy Specialist, you create input and build the case for strategic discussions and prepare presentations and workshop material on strategy topics. You will independently assess strategy initiatives and present findings to the Group Digital Management team.
You will:
work independently to drive strategic projects
develop and maintain communication materials in close collaboration with Group Digital’s communication business partner
build the base of content and material for strategy discussions and presentations for various purposes and audiences
present and convey strategy insights to the Group Digital Management team in a clear and concise way
enable change both in the known and in the unknown, supporting the change processes with relevant dialogues and consistent communications
act as a taskforce for urgent cross-functional needs that requires immediate attention
run autonomously strategically relevant initiatives in collaboration with the Strategy & Operations Manager
Work together with broad base of colleagues from many parts of IKEA
In this role you will report to the Strategy & Operations Manager.

We set the digital agenda to keep IKEA leading in an uncertain and fast moving environment. We drive the development, provision and operation of our digital products and services through the use of new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to deliver at pace.
At the same time, we provide a home for digital skills to both develop and extend the technical, people and business skills needed to ensure continuous development and growth of our digital capability.
