Student Assistant

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group ("friskola") with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. We are looking for a number of Student assistant/ Learning support staff. 

Your role is important in supporting the school meet the needs of our students- socially, emotionally and academically.

You would be a goal-oriented problem-solver, who is optimistic and enthusiastic. You are looking to work as part of a committed team and grow professionally. You are calm and self-controlled under pressure and a role model committed to achieving our IES ethos. You have demonstrated excellence in  behavior management.

Skills required:

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills• Good working knowledge Swedish and/or English• Ability to coordinate student support work• High expectations of good behavior and the ability to achieve it• Ability to drive the school’s rules, routines, and policies• A problem solver and team player with the ability to take initiative.Main responsibilities:School / Organizational Climate

• To secure the social welfare of all students of all students in the school• Work proactively with students, parents, and staff to develop our IES values• Ability to coordinate student support work• Meeting parents/students and initiating solutions Documentation and following up• Ability to initiate and drive policies/procedures

The positions are a mixed for 12 months at 100%  and 6 months at 100%.
