Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group ("friskola") with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is through both Swedish and English, with English the language of the corridors. We are looking for a positive person, who enjoys building relationships with young people, to join our team at IES Sundbyberg. The position is 100% and involves working with students across our Special Education Department one-on-one or in small groups or together with the teacher in lessons. The role may also include mentorship together with a teacher for a mentor class.
The ability to communicate with parents, as well as other staff and students in a professional manner is required. We are looking for someone who can take initiative, and be part of a motivated team of staff who have student health and wellbeing as a priority. Fluency in both Swedish and English is a benefit but not a prerequisite. Applicants should have experience working with children and/or young people.
