Internationella Engelska skolan Årsta is looking for a driven Special Education Assistant for our Special Educational Needs (SEN) team. As a Special Education Assistant you will work closely with teachers to ensure that the students achieve their goals. Our student-centered Special Educational Needs team is made up of driven, diverse, and structured educators. We are looking for a confident and calm individual that has a background in working with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia and is able to uphold the calm, productive learning environment in our learning studio. You need to have a good ability to communicate with students, parents and colleagues, in both Swedish and English. An ability to teach math concepts at the högstadiet (7-9) level is also valued. 



- Participate in the process of evaluating reading and writing difficulties through Lexplore and Lilla Duvan.
- Carry out pedagogisk kartläggningar as instructed by your head of department.
- Take responsibility for communications with teachers, staff, parents and students. This involves meetings, planning, documentation and coordination.
- Organise and teach with students, 1 on 1, in the lärstudio and classrooms.
- Support with student “movement breaks”, lovskola, and nationella proven
