IES Enskede looking for a Student Support Co-ordinator 4-9

The position of Student Support Co-ordinator within the school is a support position that requires a proactive approach to maintain the effective running of the student area and surrounding free areas within the school. The Student Support Co-ordinator works directly with the Student Care Manager and is part of the Student Care team. 

The Student Support Co-ordinator's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Take cover lessons when instructed to by the substitute co-ordinator
- Assist the sub coordinator and receptionist in their role and cover this role in case of absence
- Assist the student room coordinator in their role and cover this role in case of absence
- Support students in their social development, especially their group behaviour, attitudes and values, and pedagogical development. This is achieved through encouragement and support from management, mentors and teachers.
- Organise activities for the students during breaks, lunch, and after school.
- Assist in supervising the student room by monitoring student behaviour to ensure that the school rules are followed by students.
- See that the Student Room remains stocked and in good shape, including sports equipment and games.
- Attend and actively participate in regular meetings with the Student Care Team.
- Maintain a safe, calm environment around the school by being visible in the corridors and promoting the school's three pillars.
