Internationella Engelska Skolan Enskede is now seeking a Student Care Manager to join our fantastic working environment. This is your opportunity to work at our founding school in an international environment with a productive and encouraging team. *Please note that this is a temporary position required between March - June 2024.

The position of Student Care Manager within IESE is a management position which requires hard work and dedication. You will report to the management on a regular basis regarding all aspects of student care.

This will among other things involve:

- Supporting the Assistant Principal in all student care matters, Yr 4-9.
- Being responsible for the efficient liaison with the PTA. This includes attending/planning PTA meetings and activities.
- Organizing and managing major school events ie: dances/clash of classes/fundraisers etc.
- Being responsible for the efficient running of the House council and student council, assisted by the Student Development Coordinator.
- Attending HOY meetings. 
-  Chairing weekly student care team meetings with the school nurse, counsellor, special education teachers and student development coordinator.
- Acting as mentor for HOY’s providing moral and administrative assistance when necessary.
- Ensuring tidiness and improving the structural design of the school where appropriate.
- Overseeing the responsibility of introducing new students and other visitors to our school.
- Working proactively to ensure high standards of student attendance and behaviour.
- For specific students, overseeing behavioural targets ie. attendance, lateness, behaviour etc. 
- Conducting Student Care Conferences where necessary to set targets with students, parents and mentors.
- When necessary attend meetings with mentors, teachers, parents and students in order to support and promote positive communication between all parties.
- Contacting and reporting to appropriate school authorities in accordance with Swedish school legislation.
