Student for part time job in Technical Support!

Do you have an interest in IT/Technology and want to work with technical support? Are you also studying in a relevant field and looking for a meritorious part time job? Then we have the position for you!

We are now looking for a flexible and organized student to work with technical support at a large global organisation in Lund. As a technical support you will be a part of the IT-service team which means that you will receive and handle incoming tickets and issues from the company´s 500 co-workers. These tasks are usually handled through personal contact (face-to-face), but contact over the phone will also occur, to a certain extent. Incoming issues will be of varying character and difficulty, but will for example involve user administration, ordering new materials and hardware, technical troubleshooting of both hardware, software and network related issues. Your responsibility will be to calmly and pedagogically troubleshoot and find suitable solutions to help the user, and in some cases escalate the issue to more experienced System Administrators.

The position is expected to begin as soon as we find the right person and continue for at least 12 months. You will be hired by StudentConsulting but the position will be located at our client's office outside of Lund. We expect you to work 16 hours/week during the semester and up to fulltime during the summer/vacation period. In this position, it is important that you can be efficient and clear in your communication with other co-workers.

Din profil
To become a potential candidate for the position, you are studying an IT-relevant education on a bachelor's- or master's degree level. Preferably, you are studying to become a Civil engineer within Data/IT. We expect you to be a student for at least 1 year or more, as the position is expected to last at least 12 months. Fluent spoken and written English is the only language requirement for this position. Experience from a similar position is very meritorious.

You have a passion for IT and thrives in an environment where your main responsibility is to assist colleagues and partners with your technical knowledge. As a person we believe that you are structured and detail oriented. You are comfortable in providing support and service to other people and have good communication skills.
