Description:
Thesis work: Articulated Hauler Rubber bearing optimization.
All pivot points in the Hauler axle suspensions are equipped with maintenance-free rubber bearings. The different bearing positions have their unique load- and movement-collectives.
We are looking for optimization of rubber bearings for different applications based on load and movement collective data. Rubber bearing parameters to optimize on can be, bearing concepts, dimensions, geometries (rubber and metal), rubber -hardness/compound. The work includes problem analysis, concept designs and evaluation, 3D-CAD, FEA-calculations, etc.


Suitable Background: Mechanical Engineering
Thesis Level: Master or Bachelor
Language: Swedish/English
