Student Worker - Listing Qualifications
Nasdaq is looking for you - a Student worker – to join the Surveillance organization in Stockholm. The Surveillance organization monitors issuers’ and trading participants’ compliance with the Exchange rules and other relevant regulations. As a regulatory function responsible for enforcement, it is essential that we possess detailed knowledge and understanding about the regulation and related practices that apply to listed companies and act with the highest integrity. Our fundamental objective is to ensure that the market’s confidence in Nasdaq, our markets, and the securities market, in general, is maintained.
Your Day Will Include
You will be part of the Surveillance organization assisting first and foremost with listing applications to Nasdaq Stockholm but also with other questions arising within Surveillance. The work includes significant contact with companies and their advisors, and close cooperation with colleagues within Surveillance.
The Best-Suited Candidate
To be successful in this role, besides having a genuine interest in the financial markets and sharing our view that efficient regulation is a cornerstone of well-functioning markets. A high level of integrity, organization, and self-sufficiency is required. We are interested in candidates meeting the following requirements:
Studying law at university and having at least two years left of studies. Ideally having already studied capital markets law;
Experience in working with rules and regulations and critically analyzing information;
Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish both written and spoken; and
Ability to take responsibility and work independently, as well as close together with team members, in a service-minded manner.
