Lynk&Co Design is part of Geely Design Global, a multi-cultural organization with seven well-equipped studios in Shanghai, Gothenburg, Barcelona, Kuala Lumpur, Coventry, Hethel and Los Angeles, with total staff of approximately 900. As a Studio Engineer, you are an active link between design and engineering departments and supporting in translating engineering requirements into design possibilities. You will be the voice of the design department in a cross-functional and international team, communicating design intents and needs within engineering to facilitate the realizing of design themes from sketch into production. You will also be transferring and describing engineering and key legislative requirements to design.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have a strong interest in Creative Automotive Design in combination with the ability to drive, motivate and convince others. We also believe you to be a true team player who enjoys working cross-functionally, with an ability to both take on a leading role and work independently. Limited International travels will be needed.

As our Studio Design Engineer you will be based in Lindholmen, Gothenburg.

As a Studio Design Engineer this is what you will do most of the time:

- Understand and implement technical input and limitations in the design models.
- Managing and documenting agreements between Design and Engineering within your area.
- Manage and drive interface meetings between Design and Engineering to generate feasible solutions for technically challenging areas.
- Document feasibility of design themes and raise critical issues
- Help setting up and support clay model development.


You have probably done something like this:

- Extensive experience in automotive product concept and component design on aesthetically sensitive areas.
- Deep knowledge on vehicle engineering.
- Experience from working in both Catia and Teamcenter.
- A working knowledge of component manufacturing, tooling and material requirements.
