Job Description
Are you a creative & innovative retail Designer with a passion to create sustainable and meaningful customer experiences, all in co-creative collaborations with others?
We are now looking for a talented Designer with a background in retail and/or furniture design to join our Group Store Design Studio team.
H&M Group Store Design deliver architecture- and design support to all our brands globally. Together with our brand partners, we strive to enable meaningful business growth by leading our industry towards more sustainable and innovative architect and design solutions. Our scope includes both physical store projects as well as product development and conceptualization of new design concepts.
The Studio team offer architecture-, interior design and graphic design support to our family of brands and teams. We co-create and collaborate with other competencies and functions in store concept development projects and design assignments and tasks. Our mission is to meet expectations in creative project briefs and store design assignments, and goals, with customers at heart and with focus on sustainability and innovations.
Your responsibilities:
Create and develop design ideas and solutions according to design briefs and assignments.
Visualize and present design solutions and concepts development to various stakeholders.
Create product drawings, instructions and/or guidelines according to project briefs.
Project management within area of competence and collaboration with functions, stakeholders & partners.
Support group organization in design solutions with focus on innovations and sustainability.
Keep up to date within retail design and architecture, materials and techniques.
Qualifications
You are a creative an open-minded team player who enjoys working in an international environment and you are structured with the ability to handle multiple complex projects. You are a communicative person with a positive attitude. You take ownership of your work and always give it your best. We believe you have:
Minimum BSc/B.A. education in Industrial Design (product/furniture design).
Minimum 3 years of work experience within product development and retail design.
2D visual and technical drawing skills in Adobe CS (Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoShop).
3D visual and modelling skills (Rhino, NX, KeyShot, Enscape, Sketchup, Revit).
Strategic and analytical in mindset.
Experience from work based on circular design principles.
Commercial understanding of products for layout development.
Creative, inspirational and skilled in creative collaboration with different stakeholders.
Clear in communication and skilled in project management.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Ability to travel according to business needs.
