Let us describe our offer
We are looking for a Studio Operations Manager, Owned Retail Concepts (Volvo Studios) to strengthen and develop our global online business and our team.

A Volvo Studio is a physical pop-up, temporary or flagship downtown store where consumers can experience our brand, electrified cars and online direct offers. Our Volvo Studios are operated on a number of markets and our ambition is to meet consumers in their daily life where they can subscribe to a car or consulate with our best-in-class Volvo staff.

Your mission
You will drive and coordinate the implementation of our owned retail formats, the Volvo Studios, along the strategic transformation of our company. You will maintain and continuously optimize existing processes for Temporary and Pop-up Volvo Studios. You will have an end-to-end responsibility for the commercial equation and a scope which requires you to ensure implementation, optimization and execution of owned retail concepts based on business cases for assigned regions and markets.

In this role, you will liaise closely with central stakeholders, regions, markets and Studio managers to jointly ensure successful owned retail operations in the achievement of our commercial objectives. Further, you need to ensure that owned retail policies, premium standards, business cases and budgets are being followed and implemented.

Conducting reports to analyze and evaluate data and continuously drive optimization of commercial targets and proactively facilitate in-store sales processes of our online products and offers are key areas to success.

The scope of this role is global and covers all markets where we operate owned retail formats.

You and your skills
We are looking for a candidate with knowledge and working experience in retail environments and digital & technical innovations, combining theoretical and practical experience. A true understanding of consumers online and offline journeys and needs. A strong commercial aptitude is required in this role and the candidate should think analytically and demonstrate knowledge to creatively solve challenges and develop appropriate solutions with the ambition to create commercial opportunities.

Above all, what we’re looking for is someone who will embody Volvo’s values as a caring, customer centric organisation and is passionate about converting our philosophy into actions and measurable results. 

To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
•    Good understanding of the automotive retail business/implementation/marketing, as well as related customer needs & wants
•    A proven track record of successfully driving and implementing cross functional, global and complex projects
•    An ability to relentlessly prioritize, balance short-term initiatives with long-term sales objectives
•    High affinity for technology and innovation paired with an entrepreneurial thinking and understanding for a customer centric omni-channel sales approach
•    Outstanding and fluent communication skills in English

We believe that you have a degree in sales and finance. That you are an excellent communicator, verbally and in writing, with experience of working towards, and presenting to, senior management. Your experience also includes working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with the ability to adapt, manage and meet deadlines.
