Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Sub-Project Manager/Materials Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Drive the transition of new materials from concept to industry, focusing on alloys, welding, and fabrication for material qualification and industrialization.
Spearhead strategic planning and meticulous execution of technical material qualifications in collaboration with suppliers.
Apply nuclear industry regulations to ensure material qualification processes meet compliance standards.
Maintain a Design-to-Cost approach with the Sourcing team to balance cost efficiency and quality assurance.
Provide transparent updates to the Project Manager on progress, challenges, and issues.

What you bring:
Proven track record in technical project management, material engineering, or production quality, ideally within regulated industries like nuclear, automotive, aviation, or space.
Background in advanced steel alloys, corrosion, testing, and welding, with experience in product development and industrialization within the steel industry.
Engineering degree specializing in material science, with practical experience in material development and qualification processes.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
