The Mission of Vehicle Homologation & Compliance at CEVT is:
- To ensure knowledge of Product Compliance Requirements for all applicable markets
- To lead the organization in securing Vehicle Homologation and Product Compliance for markets outside China
- Solid and documented experience of homologation and certification administration within automotive
We are currently looking for an additional Subject Matter Expert in the area of automotive Vehicle regulation and homologation with focus on automotive safety or material & recyclability (both areas are of interest).
This is an expert role where you will be delivering support to R&D regarding current and changing Vehicle Regulations within your area of expertise, as well as planning, performing and reporting certifications tests in different projects. Based at Lindholmen, Gothenburg, you will be working closely with Homologation Lead, Attribute and System Lead roles at CEVT as well as with colleagues at Geely & Zeekr in China. The initial assignments will be within your expert area but since we are a team that works very flexible, your coming assignments will not necessarily be limited to that specific area and there will be plenty of room to grow as a Homologation expert within the team.
To thrive in this role, we believe you are a structured and responsible individual who has a substantial experience of the legal requirements within one of the expertise areas and/or of working with Vehicle Regulations in general and that you would find it exciting to be at the forefront of where the automotive industry is heading in the future.
Main focus in your role
- To act as Vehicle Regulation and homologation expert within different projects
- To co-ordinate and supervise homologation and certification activities in order to receive Component-, System- and National Vehicle approvals.
- To work as our external contact with relevant authorities and organizations and internal expert related to Vehicle Regulations in the development process.
Suitable background and experiences
- Solid and documented experience of homologation and certification administration within automotive
OR
- Solid and proven technical background in R&D within the area of automotive safety or within material & recyclability
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Good ability to be able to understand and summarize new legal requirements
- Experience of System Weaver for requirement setting is beneficial
