The Mission of Vehicle Homologation & Compliance at CEVT is:
- To ensure knowledge of Product Compliance Requirements for all applicable markets
- To lead the organization in securing Vehicle Homologation and Product Compliance for markets outside China
We are currently looking for an additional Subject Matter Expert in the area of Automotive Vehicle Regulation and Compliance
This is an expert role where part of the role is keeping control of all coming changes in the Vehicle Regulations and coordinate forums to secure information to all relevant stakeholders.
The role is also responsible for operations development within Homologation and will be the Process Manager of the Homologation processes.
Last but not least the role will handle a specific SME area with focus on for example Spare parts, Owners manuals etc, and requirements relevant for the sales companies/OEM and plan, perform and report certification tests in different projects within the SME area.
Based at Lindholmen, Gothenburg, you will be working closely with Homologation Lead, other SMEs, Lynk&Co, Attribute and System Lead roles at CEVT as well as with colleagues at Geely & Zeekr in China and our partners around the world.
Since we are a team that works very flexible, your coming assignments will not necessarily be limited to the specific areas mentioned above but there will be plenty of room to grow as a Homologation expert within the team.
Main focus in your role
- Sourcing and managing exterrnal global homologation databases from different suppliers
- Structuring and updating our internal homologation database, sharepoint/Teams information sites related to requirements to support your colleagues in the homologation group.
- Develop and implement strategy for requirement mapping within System Weaver to ensure an efficient and continuously updated management of Vehicle Regulations.
- Responsible for planning communication forums with all relevant stakeholders related to new/changing requirements.
- Coordinate operation development work within the team and keep the homologation processes updated in our management system. In this work you will in some instances also need to coordinate with our Geely/ZEEKR colleagues.
- Supporting our customer OEM as a Subject Matter Expert in Vehicle Regulations related to their needs ensuring that relevant requirements are communicated in a timely manner
- Managing certification for your specific SME area
Suitable background and experiences
- Solid and documented experience of homologation and certification administration within automotive or technical background and experience of vehicle product development and managing requirement specifications.
- An interest in driving process development
- Excellent ability to be able to understand and summarize new legal requirements
- Documented experience of using and developing System Weaver for requirement setting.
- Good knowledge in excel and sharepoint
- Good planning skills
- Ability to lead and take actions
- Good social skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
