Subject Matter Expert - Internal Controls System (ICS)

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are looking for you, who would like to be part of building up and developing new processes and  IT tool support for internal controls through Scania Group. In this position, you will join the Global ICS team and work in an international environment closely collaborating with ICS Managers from different countries and business units in Scania Group. You will get an opportunity to overview and understand the Scania business model and possibilities to create network in the whole Scania organization and other companies within the TRATON GROUP.

Main responsibilities:


• Together with the ICS team develop and maintain the Scania Group Control Catalogue
• Drive automation of internal controls and participate in projects aiming at improving the IT tool for ICS
• Develop and perform relevant trainings on internal controls including functionality of the ICS IT tool, both regular and on demand
• Perform regular data quality reviews
• Prepare management reporting and further develop the reporting structure
• Participate in yearly risk assessments and preparation of internal control evaluation plans
• Participate in evaluation of internal controls
• Manage user access and give technical support on the IT tool for ICS
• Define and execute upon targets and strategies

Your profile

We are looking for someone with knowledge and understanding of internal controls as well as big interest for data analytics and IT tool support. You have an academic degree, at least 5 years background working with internal controls, finance, risk management, compliance, IT-development or internal audit. It is crucial that you have big passion for continuous improvement always looking for efficient and effective solutions for the best benefit of the business operations.

To succeed in this role, you need to understand both business and IT processes. You have excellent skills in Excel and have experience in structuring and analysis of complex data sets. You understand new technologies such as advanced analytics and AI and can transform them into value for the company.

You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing and possess the ability to bring people along. You communicate complex matters in an easily accessible way.
