Duties and Responsibilities
As a substitute teacher you replace an ordinary teacher temporarily during the absence or act as an assistant to an ordinary teacher. You supervise lessons after a set lesson plan and contribute to meaningful schooldays for students.
Competencies & skills required
· Bachelor’s degree. It is an advantage if you are a qualified teacher or have a teacher education in progress.
· Previous experience working with children.
· Solid level of written and spoken English.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A pleasant and friendly personality.
· The ability to function effectively under pressure.
· Flexibility.
· Good references.
It's an advantage if you can substitute other subjects besides French.
