Who are we
Power Electronics Software at Volvo Cars are leaders within SW development for Electric Vehicles. We are responsible for delivering system solution and SW functionality for the inverters, electric machines and power conversion in our electrified vehicles. Our vision is to deliver the best and most innovated functions to the market and continuously evolve our Software platform.

The group, Power Electronics Diagnostics, you are going to be part of is developing and verifying diagnostic software for the inverter, the electric machine and the power conversion. The agile team consists of enthusiastic people with a mix of gender, age and nationality. We have high focus on collaboration and communication within the group.
We are looking for you who is interested in development of next generations electrical drivelines and would like to work with us during the summer of 2023. 

What’s in it for you 
You will be involved in many tasks within the scope of the agile diagnostic team. Perform diagnostic data collection in vehicles is one of the tasks. The collected data will be analyzed in different ways. You will also summarize data and perform work using excel and word. Helping us to structure documents is also of value for us. Besides this you will assist persons in the team in performing tests in vehicles and HIL.

Who are you
We believe that you are currently pursuing a master's of science within Electrical Engineering, or similar. You have a genuine interest to work within power electronics. 

•    Experience in handling tools as excel and word
•    Driving license class B (Automatic or Manual)
•    Fluent in English, spoken and written
•    Being able to perform tests according to instruction

Meritorious
•    Experience from electric vehicles 
•    Knowledge within software development, inverter/electric machine development
•    Skills within Python, Matlab and Simulink
•    Previous experience from working at Volvo Cars

Personal qualities
•    Driven, accurate and positive attitude
•    Interested to learn
•    Good interpersonal and communicational skills
•    Trustworthy and taking responsibility
