What you'll do
This is a 3-month-summer internship where the intern will learn and support the organization with different technical and business-related tasks. You will work together with different stakeholders to provide insights, technical and management support, and to manage specific assignments to support the teams.
There will be a high-level cooperation with teams from different focus areas and you will assist the improvement work around those areas.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for candidates who have a background in Business Development, Communication and/or Engineering. You have integrity, courage, positive energy, and a personality characterized by willingness to innovate and take on new challenges, being result-oriented and striving for improvements.
We see that you have worked with some of the following tools: MATLAB, Microsoft Office, and/or any other reporting/programming tool, e.g., Phyton, Java, C++.
It is important that you are structured, data driven and have good documentation skills. People see you as cooperative and transparent. You are self-driven and have no problems handling many tasks simultaneously. As we are a global company, you need to speak English, both verbal and written, have strong communication skills, and being able to deal with stakeholders at various levels.
To fit this position, you need to act with an agnostic mind-set regarding usage of tools and other decisions that might be up for considerations, e.g., best practices should be used according to Volvo Cars Corporation strategies and requirements. Last but not least, you are flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity, and have the ability to move between big picture and detail.

This is a 3-months summer internship between June – August 2022. Exact start and end time to be discussed with recruiting manager.
