Main Tasks
SCA Category Intelligence is responsible for delivering actionable competitive intelligence & insights, as part of the Global Hygiene Category, in support of the TENA brand. We track the tactical, operational & strategic moves of our competitors to help support the development on anticipated & current competitor offers globally. Our body of work is used as an input to discovery & development of new ideas, strategies, product extensions and other related business activities.
Support in the data- collection & monitoring related to competitor launches & activity within the Incontinence Care market worldwide
Support in the development of regular reporting (newsflashes, newsletters)
Actively monitor a variety of key secondary sources, including competitor & brand websites, press releases, & internal databases, as well as executing active searches on an ad-hoc basis
This role may also involve interface with various cross-functional/regional groups to help aide in the collection of internal competitor knowledge as well
Key Competencies
Education level: University studies in Economics & Business Administration or Marketing & Communications
Please state what courses you have taken and potential projects you have done
Swedish & English, both written and verbal
Basic understanding of desk research
Basic knowledge of MS office products
Knowledge of competitive intelligence, secondary research is a plus
Knowledge of relevant internal/external data sources is a plus
Knowledge of Filemaker database is a plus
Personal Characteristics
This role ideally would have strong interpersonal & listening skills
Strong oral & written communication skills
General creative & curious nature
Persistence in work & assertive in analysis/conclusions
