MAX IV is a Swedish national large-scale research laboratory hosted by Lund University.

It provides scientists from Sweden as well as internationally, with state-of-the-art instrumentation for research in areas such as engineering, physics, structural biology, chemistry and nanotechnology. Fully developed it will receive more than 2 000 scientists annually, conducting ground-breaking experiments in materials and life sciences using the brilliant X-ray light.

Your team

Lead by the HSE Group manager, safety group consist of radiation safety, experimental safety and general safety team. We are a group of 20 personnel specializing in various safety aspects namely radiation safety, chemical safety (gases included), machine safety, fire safety, environmental safety and security. The team provides expertise and support for projects and operations in MAX IV by ensuring the compliance to Swedish safety standards and legal requirements, despite the challenging environment of a research facility that explores the unknown relentlessly. 

Your main work tasks will be

- identify areas where MTO application in safety systems and work processes for chemical/Gas/experimental safety. 



To be successful in this role you need to have the following qualifications

Människa, teknik, organisation (MTO) /Human, Technology, Organization (HTO) education. 


As a person you are 

You must be minimum 18 years and fluent in English to apply to this position.

Language proficiency in Spanish is an added advantage. 

A team player with structured work practices, collaborative and creative in finding solutions.
