Your work assignments as Junior Compliance Officer
Business Area Markets maximizes the value of Vattenfall’s portfolio by optimizing and dispatching, hedging and sourcing for Vattenfall's assets and sales positions. We offer power purchase agreements to operators of wind or solar parks, optimize 3rd party batteries and enter into origination deals within the B2B segment. The Compliance function within BA Markets shall ensure that the business is in compliance with applicable internal and external regulations.

The tasks consist of assisting in customary duties within the areas Compliance, Responsible Sourcing and Know Your Counterparty (KYC). They can entail legal inquiries, participating in controls of the business and of counterparties, administrative work with instructions and other documents etc.

Your qualifications
We are looking for a person who’s has a high school degree and is currently studying at University or Collage. Ongoing or finished studies in law and former experiences from finance or the energy sector is an advantage. You have great Office skills and as we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently, Swedish and German is an advantage.

Further we believe that you have a structural way of working and have the ability to work independently. We want someone who pay mind to details and quality. We also believe that you have great communications skills and are a team-player.

The summer job is located in Solna and a start date will be determined in agreement with the hiring manager. The summer job period is sometime between May and September 2021.
