THIS THE JOB

As a Data Engineer/Data Scientist at Stratiteq you are part of developing tomorrow´s intelligent solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making and making an impact within our client's businesses. With high skills and a creative mind, you help our clients achieve tangible business results such as improved products, utilization, less maintenance and in the end higher efficiency and better user experience. Like a superhero you use your magic by improving data reliability, efficiency and quality, through database architecture, design and automation. You work and experiment with data using machine learning and data mining technologies as well as classical statistics. With other words, you will translate hard product goals and business problems into data science problems, draw conclusions from data, and recommend actions.

To succeed as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer at Stratiteq, continuous learning is crucial. At Stratiteq we learn from each other and share experiences from different projects. For instance, via brown bag sessions, internal conferences, or external training. We work closely together, and we take pride in team effort and cheer for each other.

For this role we believe you are a creative and analytic person who uses your scientific knowledge and engineering skills to create high business value. Your ability to reform data and statistics into a strategic way of thinking is the key. Another important quality we are looking for is passion as we believe that if you have a passion for your craft, you can learn the skills.

However, for this role you have an educational background, Master or Bachelor´s degree within a suitable area such as engineering or science. Alternatively, a comparable industry career with significant experience in data analytics.

Your skills:

Experience with statistical programming (e.g., Python, R) and database language (e.g., SQL, NO SQL).

Experience from a cloud platform (e.g., Azure, Googel, AWS)

Experience with data analysis and visualization (e.g., Power BI, Qlik)

Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with others.

Ability to automate analytic tasks.

Comfortable in English, both in spoken and when written. It is an advantage if you also speak Swedish.
