Superintendent - Mine Technical Service

Your role
As the Superintendent Mine Technical Service, you will provide technical mentorship to the mining professionals in the Technical Services team (mining engineers, technicians, surveyors, geologists, etc.). It is within the scope to develop the budget and mine plans for all timeframes. In addition, you should ensure regulatory compliance for all technical and environmental aspects of the mine. You are directly responsible for developing, implement and monitor the procedures for the technical service team. In addition, you will play a key role in developing and monitor production KPIs and routines for the mine operation.

Education and qualifications
We are looking for a person with a university degree in mine engineering or geology. You have at least 10 years of experience in open pit operations or mine geology, preferably with international experience working with developing open-pit mine plans and budgets. Strategic thinking and a deep understanding of open-pit mining production and planning systems are required.
Good knowledge in mine-related software is essential, especially Deswik or Geovia Whittle. Data analysis and process optimization are essential, and experience in grade control and quality management will be considered an asset.

To succeed in the role, it is crucial that you have good leadership skills. You should be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written English. If you are proficient in Swedish, that is a merit. Category B driving license is a requirement.
