Volvo Car Torslanda (VCT) is now in a very exciting phase of expansion. The launch of the SPA platform and the models XC90, S90 and V90 have led to large change in production and made an increased demand on our cars. Changes puts high demands where everyone have to work smart, flexible, efficient and have the courage to challenge to achieve real success.Production now need to expand to manage future products and the increased demands.

Therefore, we are seeking a number of new Supervisors, which would be important members in our team to reach VCT's future goals. Since it is a natural part of our daily work to work with continuous improvements, we want you as a leader to have the courage to influence and be influenced by teamwork. We believe that a key success factor for Volvo Car Torslanda is a leadership that in an inclusive manner can drive the business forward.

The different departments and there specific responsibilities:

* The body plant produces bodies in a highly automated process. The process is highly advanced technically and the interaction between humans and machines is very important. Focusing on the human being in a continuous improvement through our work approach
* The painting plant task is to rust-proof, airtight and paint complete bodies ready for the final assembly. The painting process is performed with help of highly automated production processes
* The assembly plant is responsible for the final assembling of the car and the preparation for delivery to the customer
* Logistics is responsible for order and production planning, and making sure of having material delivery from goods to production at the right time and the right place

Main responsibilities

* Lead, manage and follow up activities
* By applying Volvo Cars' leadership behaviours create opportunities for employees to develop.
* Building trust among employees and develop effective teams
* Be responsible for setting goals and define improvement activities within own area of responsibility
* Be responsible for the implementation of existing production systems by applying current methods and tools
* Organise the work and resources in such a way that the company's objectives in the short, medium and long term are met effectively
* Be a member in the management team for own production area

Required qualifications

* University degree or equivalent competence level
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Knowledge and understanding of production processes and systems is meritorious

* A good communicator and excellent corporation skills with cultural awareness
* Ability to lead, involve and motivate people
* Driven and results focused in an inclusive manner
* Structured and analytical approach in solving development tasks
* Positive to changes and focused on solutions
