In our body component plant in Olofström, we work with lean, clean and flexible production technologies - with a firm focus on people and continuous development. Each production team has an overall responsibility for quality, economy, delivery and team development. As Supervisor you make sure that you and your team operates according to the high standards within the production. Within the stamping department you make sure that the die & tools are in the right place at the right time. Your mindset should be visionary and with an aim of finding solutions. You lead your team with passion and ensure the communication between the productions shifts.
Main responsibilities

* Responsible for the development of your team and department
* Interact with other leaders within the unit for optimum use of resources
* Responsible for goal-setting process, define and pursue activities as well as for monitoring of the activities within the area of responsibility
* Make sure that production meet the high standards when it comes to safety, efficiency and environment
* Ensure development towards "Best in Class" by implementing Volvo Cars Manufacturing System
* Contact with customers, suppliers and colleagues

Required qualifications

* University degree or equal knowledge gained by experience
* Good knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Experience of leadership, preferably within manufacturing environment
* Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken
* Drivers license (B-level)
* Competence in Lean Manufacturing is meritorious

Personal qualities

* Integrity, courage and personal energy
* Organised and structured in following up the work
* Strong leadership and coaching skills
* A can-do attitude and desire for improving the business on a daily basis
